All public transport times should be checked beforehand.

NB Unless otherwise stated, walks are usually on a Sunday and start at 10.30am. Most of our walks are leisurely in pace and usually start and end at a London Transport or Overground Station.

26th C EPPING STATION. Bus passes or cash required for bus to Chipping Ongar. Circular country walk visiting Greenstead Church and Cripsey Brook. Return by bus to Epping station. Dry lunch 3-4 miles
September 2018
2nd L MILE END STATION. Medium pace linear walk via Victoria Park, Olympic Park, and ending at Walthamstow Wetlands. Return via Tottenham Hale station (Victoria line and National Rail) or 123 bus. Dry lunch. 7 miles
16th C THE CASTLE bus stop, WOODFORD GREEN. Walk through Epping Forest to Chingford and return, with lunch stop near the Butlers' Retreat. 6 miles
23rd L VICTORIA STATION, IN FRONT OF PLATFORMS 1 - 7 DEPARTURES. Crossing London Bridges part 4, including Nine Elms and Battersea Park, lunch near café, linear walk ending near public transport. 7 miles
30th C WOODFORD STATION, SNAKES LANE EAST EXIT. Circular walk visiting parks, woods and lakes in Woodford and Redbridge areas. Dry lunch. 6 miles
October 2018
7th L 11am GOLDERS GREEN STATION, Northern line. Linear walk visiting Golders Hill park and the Hill Garden, lunch near Kenwood House, ending at Hampstead station, Northern line. 5 miles, dry lunch. 5 miles
14th C CHINGFORD STATION, London Overground. Circular morning walk on Epping Forest Willow Trail.3 miles on good paths. 3 miles
21st C CHINGFORD STATION, London Overground. Medium pace circular walk via Carrolls Farm, down Barn Hill, on to Gilwell Park via Sewardstone Village Hall. Dry lunch. 5.5 miles
28th C SLOANE SQUARE STATION, District line. Amble across more Thames bridges. Possible early tea break then over to Battersea Park for dry lunch. Return via Chelsea and the Kings Road. 6.5 miles

* Stations on Central Line if not stated otherwise.
* ALL lunch breaks are 30 - 40 mins MAX.
* STRONG, WATERPROOF FOOTWEAR, PREFERABLY WALKING BOOTS, ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL WALKS. PATHS MAY BE MUDDY, AND LEADERS WILL CHECK THAT FOOTWEAR IS SUITABLE FOR THEIR WALK.
