All public transport times should be checked beforehand.

NB Unless otherwise stated, walks are usually on a Sunday and start at 10.30am. Most of our walks are leisurely in pace and usually start and end at a London Transport or Overground Station.

22nd L WOODFORD STATION, SNAKES LANE EAST EXIT. Linear walk to Debden station following the River Roding. Dry lunch 6 miles

13th C CHIGWELL ROW CHURCH, bus 150 from Hainault underground station or use carpark opposite. Circular walk in Hainault Forest, lunch near cafe. Walk could be terminated at bus stop near cafe but walk will return to the church 4 miles
20th C CHINGFORD STATION, London Overground. Circular Forest walk with viewpoints at Pole Hill and Yates' Meadow, then via Cuckoo Brook and Connaught Water to return. Dry lunch 5 miles
27th L THEYDON BOIS STATION. Medium pace circular Forest walk to Upshire and return. Dry lunch near pub. 7 miles
June 2018
24th 8 CHINGFORD STATION, London Overground. Figure 8 walk or morning walk only, on Epping Forest Willow and Holly Trails, lunch near Butlers Retreat. Total 3 or 6 miles back to station. . 3/6 miles

* For 'Dry lunch', food and drink need to be carried with you, and a drink and snack on other walks.
* Stations on Central Line if not stated otherwise.
* ALL lunch breaks are 30 - 40 mins MAX.
* STRONG, WATERPROOF FOOTWEAR, PREFERABLY WALKING BOOTS, ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL WALKS. PATHS MAY BE MUDDY, AND LEADERS WILL CHECK THAT FOOTWEAR IS SUITABLE FOR THEIR WALK.
